West Virginia Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education
The CE Shop is an approved West Virginia REC; Provider #80061
Continuing Education Renewal Date: 6/30 each year
License Renewal Date: 6/30 each year
Hours Required By the State: 7 elective hours
The CE Shop's Offering: 7 elective hours
Reporting: The state does not require schools to report CE hours.
Expiration date of course: All Continuing Education courses must be completed no later than June 30 each year in order to obtain Continuing Education credit for that year/cycle. Course expiration dates vary by course but are generally one year after order date. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in your account.
Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with at least a 75%.
Certificates: Upon completion of the course, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate of Completion with your renewal. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your Certificates of Completion will reflect this.
Repeating Courses: Licensees cannot take the same course for two consecutive years.
